SUPPORT
Save the Date!
IWMF Fatigue Support Group
May 25, 2021 from 1:00PM – 3:00PM U.S. ET
are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?

Join other individuals living with WM who are challenged with fatigue to connect meaningfully, network face to face on Zoom, share strategies and exchange helpful tips.
Dr. Rina Fox will offer a 15-minute presentation on fatigue followed by a lively Q&A where she will respond to your pre-submitted questions.
Marcia Klepac, IWMF Past Board Trustee and experienced Support Group Leader, will then facilitate an engaging discussion and fatigue support group session.
The goal of this first gathering is to focus on hearing each others’ voices and sharing experiences. Following Dr. Fox’s brief presentation, the remainder of the meeting will be conversational.
About the Presenters:

Rina S. Fox, PhD, MPH is a clinical psychologist and a Research Assistant Professor at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she studies ways to help improve quality of life and decrease symptoms for adults facing cancer and other chronic illnesses. She is particularly interested in identifying ways that cancer survivors can sleep better and feel less fatigued by changing the way they think and act.
Marcia Klepac, RN, D.Ed. is a retired nurse/health educator and twenty-year WM survivor. During her career, Marcia worked as a nursing instructor and diabetes educator in a patient empowerment model of care. Following an early retirement due to treatment demands of WM, Marcia strived to maintain a good quality of life through wellness efforts and taking a proactive role in her disease management. Marcia is very grateful to the IWMF for their invaluable resources and the volunteer opportunities that she finds so rewarding.
This will be a Zoom meeting. You need to pre-register for the event. Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email with meeting link information.
