On September 1st, The IWMF CO/WY/AZ Support Group had the benefit of meeting with two physicians!
 
Dr. Jeffrey Matous of Colorado Blood Cancer Institute presented New Kids on the Block: More than Ibrutinib followed by a Q&A session. Dr. Matous is a Rockstar WM Physician, so be sure to check him out next month when he presents WM & Basic Terminolology at our IWMF Understanding WM Workshop on October 6th. Dr. Mike Shomaker of Colorado Kidney Care presented Kidney Function and Chronic Kidney Disease. His presentation included an overview on the anatomy & physiology of the kidneys and testing for kidney function, followed by a Q&A session.
 
We thank both of these physicians for sharing their wisdom with the WM community!
