How to Create a Facebook Fundraiser
Turn your birthday, wedding or special event into a fundraiser for the IWMF. Share your campaign with friends, family and co-workers on your Facebook profile to support the IWMF’s mission. All of the donations go directly to the IWMF!
Note: before you start, check that charitable giving is available in your country.
Follow these six steps to create a Facebook fundraiser for the IWMF.
STEP 1
SIGN into your Facebook page.
STEP 2
On the top right, you will see a round circle with 6 dots, click and a menu will pop up.
There is a Create menu that will drop down. Scroll to the end, “Fundraiser” with a heart symbol can be selected.
STEP 3
Choose: International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation
STEP 4
On the left of the page, enter:
- The goal amount of money you want to raise
- The currency (US Dollars)
- End fundraiser (12/31/23)
- Title (keep or edit as you wish)
- Reason (keep or edit as you wish)
Select: CREATE
STEP 5
You’ll see a screen pop up where you can invite your friends to donate to your fundraiser, share your fundraiser in your feed, or donate to the fundraiser yourself.
Click the Get Started Button

You will also receive an email from Facebook.
