New Videos Available on Transformation
and Bing-Neel Syndrome

2021 WMUK Patient-Doctor Summit
On November 17th, Dr. Edward Libby and Dr. Mary Kwok of Seattle Cancer Care Alliance presented to IWMF Support Group Leaders and International Affiliates on the topics of transformation and Bing-Neel Syndrome. A lively Q&A Session followed the presentations.
 
We extend our thanks to Dr. Libby for presenting to the IWMF community one last time before his retirement!

2021 WMUK Patient-Doctor Summit
On November 21st, two international IWMF Bing-Neel Specialty Topic Sessions were held.
 
During both of the sessions, a pre-recorded video was shared by Dr. Jorge Castillo of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, which he prepared exclusively for these meetings with an update on Bing-Neel Syndrome.

Union for International Cancer Control Webinar
Prehabilitation – Multimodal Interventions to Improve Resilience and Response to Treatment in Cancer

In this Special Focus Dialogue on Tuesday, December 7th, experts on prehabilitation in cancer will share their experience in developing, implementing and evaluating prehabilitation interventions. They will discuss how being nutritionally, physically and psychologically ‘unfit’ might affect resilience to cancer and how multimodal prehabilitation can help decrease treatment-related morbidity, increase cancer treatment options, and improve physical and psychological health outcomes.
 
This program is held in collaboration with ICONIC – International Collaboration on Nutrition in relation to Cancer.
