We appreciate that you have come to the IWMF website to learn about  Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia (WM), and the many services provided by the IWMF (International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation).

Welcome to the IWMF community. Although WM is a rare disease, the very first thing you should know is that you are not alone. Whether you are a patient, caregiver, family member or a friend of someone with WM, you have come to the right place. While having WM can at times be overwhelming and you may feel like you are on an emotional roller coaster, please know the IWMF is here for you and your loved ones to help you understand WM and to offer education and support. Just call on us.

The IWMF is a nonprofit organization  dedicated to our simple but compelling mission: To support and educate everyone affected by Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia (WM) to improve patient outcomes while advancing the search for a cure. We support both newly diagnosed and veteran WM patients and their caregivers across the globe; we provide educational materials, events and networking opportunities; and we fund research to find a cure for WM.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us at or call 941-927-4963. You can also explore our website to:

The IWMF does not charge for our services. All of our materials are free and are available 24/7. However, we rely on donations from the WM community to fund the many services we provide. We ask that you consider making a donation according to what your heart asks and your pocket can afford. Tax receipts will be provided for all gift levels. You can join online here or you can complete the downloadable Join Form and fax it or mail it as indicated on the application.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are not a resident of the US, we welcome you to become a part of the IWMF and receive all the services provided by us. By joining the IWMF, your contact information will be sent to our International Affiliate, if one exists in your country of residence, so that you can obtain support from the local IWMF in your country. The IWMF International Affiliates can be found here. The list of International Support Groups can be found here.
