The IWMF, with its Global Partners, has over 60 Support Groups worldwide, including groups throughout the US, in Argentina, Australia, Canada, many countries in Europe, India, Mexico and Taiwan. The list of US and International Support Groups and contact information can be found by using the drop down menus below. You can find a list of currently scheduled Support Group meetings here.
In some areas, Regional Contacts are available where a Support Group is not feasible due to the sparse population in the region or the lack of coverage by a Support Group Leader. Regional Contacts are WM patients or caregivers who are very interested in connecting with other WM community members either by telephone or email to provide support and information to assist the person in managing and living well with WM.
You can search below to find a Support Group in your area and then contact the Support Group Leader to join. If there is no Support Group in your local area, or have any questions about finding a group in your area, please contact our IWMF Director of Information and Support, Michelle Postek at mpostek@iwmf.com.
We are also proud to host Specialty Topic Support Groups, which meet periodically throughout the year. These meetings are listed on our events calendar and announced in our weekly eNews. Specialty Topic Meetings include:
– Young WM (Age 50 and below)
-WM People of Color
-Bing-Neel Syndrome
-WM Military Veterans
-Caregivers
-Watch & Wait
-Peripheral Neuropathy
