The 29th Annual IWMF  Educational Forum

The annual IWMF Educational Forum provides a unique opportunity to learn and connect with Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia (WM) specialists, clinicians, researchers, patients, family, and caregivers. The two-day program of the 2024 Ed Forum featured pertinent and timely information about the symptoms and complications of WM, current treatment options, new therapies, and wellness, and concluded with our popular “Ask the Doctors” question-and-answer session. It was truly an opportunity to Immerse, Explore, and Soar!

Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia Genomics Latest and Greatest
Dr. Zachary Hunter covers some of the basic concepts about mutation and DNA regulation in cancer while putting these concepts in the context of recent breakthroughs in WM happening both at Dana-Farber and across the globe. Topics covered will include common gene mutations in WM, genomic based disease monitoring, evidence for subtypes of Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia, personalized medicine and more.
