A new team member joins IWMF
The International Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia Foundation (IWMF) is pleased to announce the addition of Kim Schwartz as its new Grants and Contracts Administrator.
Kim’s Background
Kim has over 6 years of experience in nonprofit grants management, with a strong track record of improving processes and strengthening cross-functional collaboration. She is deeply committed to mission-focused work.
Most recently, Kim served at Gateway for Cancer Research, where she held multiple roles over nearly eight years, including Grants Program Manager. In this capacity, she played a central role in strengthening the grantmaking programs, managing pre- and post-award processes, and supporting the Board of Directors as well as scientific and strategic research partnerships. Her work helped ensure the smooth delivery of high-impact cancer research funding while enhancing internal efficiency and partner engagement.
Throughout her career, Kim has been recognized for her ability to streamline complex systems, build trusted relationships across teams and stakeholders, and serve as a reliable point of connection between internal departments, donors, and external partners. Her background spans nonprofit and corporate environments, including research administration, project management, and sales operations—bringing a broad and adaptable skill set to her work in grants and contracts.
