Holiday Self-Care with Lita Artis
Thursday, December 19th 1pm ET
Give yourself the gift of presence during this busy time of year! Join Lita Artis, massage therapist and Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia (WM) caregiver, to find peace and calm in the body and mind.
Lita will share 3-4 simple body-focused practices that draw from acupressure, polyvagal theory and HeartMath, with the goal of resetting the nervous system.
Learn how to guide yourself or another from an anxiety state (sympathetic nervous system) to a calm/relaxed state (parasympathetic nervous system). Sample from this variety to find what works best for you, whether seated or reclining.
All are welcome: WM friends, staff, and caregivers are invited!
