WEBINAR: WM and COVID-19 – Friday 19 June (9AM – 10AM EDT)
WMUK(link is external) is delighted to be working in partnership with Lymphoma Action(link is external) to host a free live webinar for people affected by WM.
This is an opportunity to ask questions about COVID-19 and WM to our panel of UK experts – Dr Shirley D’Sa, WM lead clinician at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) and WMUK trustee; and Helen DeMarco, Consultant Clinical & Health Psychologist in the Haematology Psychology and Counselling Services at University College London Hospitals (UCLH).
Coronavirus (COVID-19) has had a huge impact on our lives in the last few months and could well continue to do so into the future. At WMUK, people with WM have been in touch with a wide range of questions about COVID-19 and WM as well as seeking support for how to cope physically, mentally, and emotionally with lockdown and shielding. We hope this webinar will give you facts, information, and tools for living well with WM during COVID-19.
To register for this event, simply click on the link below. Full joining instructions will be sent once your registration is confirmed.
Note: Some of the content will be specific to the medical system in the UK but much of it will be suitable to an international audience.
