Introducing the New IWMF Operations Manager
16 Nov, 2016

Message from Carl Harrington, IWMF President

To better serve our members, support groups, affiliates and partners, we have strengthened the IWMF Office by adding an Operations MaKathy Laundernager.

I’m pleased to introduce our new IWMF Operations Manager: Kathryn (Kathy) Launder, who joined us on 11/1/16. Kathy and her husband recently relocated to the Sarasota area from Wisconsin.

As Operations Manager, Kathy will be responsible for running the IWMF Office. Kathy has extensive experience in staff management as well as process management and process improvement. Her most recent position was Manager of Operational Support and Fulfillment Services for a not-for-profit health insurance provider in Madison, Wisconsin.

Kathy is a 23-year+ survivor of NHL Dr. Rafat Abonour, who has spoken at our Ed Forums in the past. was part of her transplant team. I guess that means she comes with built-in empathy for WMers. I think you’ll find Kathy responsive, energetic and fun.

Reporting to Kathy will be Rikki Miller, and three part time employees: Sara McKinnie, Bruce Alexander and Greg Miller. Kathy will be replacing Bobbie Chabino, who resigned as Office Manager effective 9/30/16.
