The IWMF is pleased to announce that Beverly Docteur has joined the IWMF Board of Trustees, and will assume the role of Secretary/Treasurer. Beverly has over 30 years of financial experience and over the last fifteen years, has been the Chief Financial Officer of two different non-profit organizations. She has also served as a volunteer for several non-profits in her community. Her extensive non-profit experience will be of great benefit to the IWMF community.
The addition of Beverly will enable the IWMF to better fulfill its vision of “Supporting everyone affected by Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia while advancing the search for a cure.” Beverly and her husband, Jerry, live near Binghamton, NY.
The IWMF wishes to extend its gratitude to Cynthia Ruhl, who is stepping down from the Board and her role as Secretary/Treasurer, where she had worked diligently for the past 5 years to maintain and enhance sound accounting practices and financial reporting for the IWMF.
