A longstanding partner organization for the IWMF, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (whom we work with on the IWMF-LLS Strategic Research Roadmap), is providing three one-hour programs addressing survivorship issues as part of their Survivorship Series for lymphoma patients.

The programs are:

  • Why is Nutrition Important for Cancer Patients (Thursday, October 26, 2017; noon-1PM US Eastern Time)
  • Communicating with your Healthcare Team (Tuesday, November 7, 2017; noon-1PM US Eastern Time)
  • Navigating the Financial Maze for Cancer Survivorship (pre-recorded; released on or before Wednesday, December 20, 2017). Note: this session is being conducted by Triage Cancer, which was a presenter on this topic at the 2017 IWMF Ed Forum.

Each program is free. Note these programs are not WM-specific but are designed for all blood cancer patients. For more details, see: www.lls.org/webcasts(link is external), and to register, go to: www.mlicme.org/P17071/index.php(link is external).

The IWMF extends our gratitude to the LLS for providing these valuable educational opportunities to all lymphoma patients, and encourages the WM community to take advantage of these offerings!
