Register now to attend the 5th International Patient and Physician Summit on Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia at: www.waldenstromsummit.org(link is external).
The Patient and Physician Summit will be held on October 13th and 14th, 2018 at the New York Marriott Downtown Hotel, situated in Lower Manhattan near Battery Park. The hotel is located in one of New York’s most historic areas near Wall Street, the 9/11 Memorial Museum and One World Observatory.
The objective of this two-day conference is to update patients, caregivers, and local oncologists so they can better understand WM from the perspectives of diagnosis, predispositions, disease morbidities, and upfront and relapsed refractory treatment approaches. The conference will include a session consisting of an International panel of experts (titled “Meet the Professor”), which will allow attendees to ask questions of the panelists about the latest WM research and therapies.
The IWMF is excited to inform our members about this comprehensive event, which further enhances the array of educational services that are provided to WM patients and caregivers. The Patient and Physician Summit (which follows the 10th International Workshop on WM(link is external)) further enhances the face-to-face opportunities that the WM community has to hear from and meet with leading clinicians and researchers from around the world.
Attendance at the 5th International Patient and Physician Summit on Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia is free due to generous grants from pharmaceutical companies. However, due to space limitations, registration is mandatory. To register, go to: www.waldenstromsummit.org(link is external).
The IWMF wishes to thank the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Bing Center for continuing to make this event available to WM patients and caregivers!
