International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation

In conjunction with a CME (Continuing Medical Education) Scientific Symposium on Plasma Cell Disorders for hematologists and oncologists in honor of Dr. Robert Kyle, the Mayo Clinic is holding a free half-day Patient Symposium that will be open to the public. The symposium will be held from 8:00 AM through lunch in the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN on Saturday, March 16, 2019.

The program for the WM patient symposium is below. There will be three simultaneous patient sessions: one on WM, one on AL Amyloidosis and one on Multiple Myeloma. The first two presentations on the agenda below will be done in plenary, with the full group in attendance. Then, at 9:00 AM, the patients will split into three groups. Only the WM group will have the privilege of hearing Dr. Kyle make a presentation on their disease. Don’t miss this event! Click here to see the full agenda for all the sessions.

Online registration will open on January 25th, 2019 at this link (click here)(link is external).  Although there is no charge for the symposium, you will need to make and pay for your own travel and hotel expenses. Recommended hotels are available on the registration page.

Don’t miss this chance to hear a legend speak on your disease and to learn of the latest Mayo Clinic approach to managing WM and related treatment toxicities. Oh, and did we mention it was FREE?
